About the Journal

The Sahel Journal of Geography, Environment and Development (SJGED) is an academic journal of the Department of Geography, Federal University Birnin Kebbi, Nigeria. The SJGED is an open-access peer-reviewed journal that publishes high quality theoretical and empirical research papers, critical reviews, short communications and students’ papers. The Journal is concerned with contemporary issues in Geography, Climate Change, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing, Disaster Management, Environmental Sciences and Sustainable Development.
